Raindance MA Mentor Vanessa King helps Final Draft fight for inclusion - Raindance

One of the most used tools in the film industry has now become more inclusive. Raindance MA mentor Vanessa King has joined forces with the Geena Davis Institute on Gender and Media to create an Inclusivity Tool on the screenwriting software Final Draft.

The intention is to quickly generate data on diversity and inclusion at the script level and encourage writers to check their own biases in the writing process.

Baptiste is a writer hailing from the part of France where it is always sunny. After a stint in politics and earning his Master's Degree in Management, he was a marketing intern for the 23rd Raindance Film Festival in 2015, then joined the team permanently in 2016 as the Registrar of the MA in Filmmaking.
