Raindance Film Academy Programme
Where education meets the film industry

Become a Raindance Film Academy

Discover. Be Discovered.

In addition to our world-renowned film festival, Raindance has been operating a professional film school since 1992, and our alumni include several A-list filmmakers such as Chris Nolan, Edgar Wright and Guy Ritchie to name a few.

For the first time, we are launching a Raindance Film Academy Programme, to bring our film school to your institute. The programme is open to all sixth-form schools and colleges that offer full level 3 courses in Creative Media/Film.

Our Raindance Academy programme will offer your Sixth-form/college the following:

  • Access to a cloud-based platform that allows students to collaborate, share film projects and receive feedback from the whole Raindance Academy community
  • Free access for subject tutors to attend our open courses (CPD)
  • Complimentary festival passes and entry to events for subject tutors throughout the year.
  • Raindance branding and marketing for your level 3 media/film qualifications (vendor-neutral)
  • Direct access to our HND/MA fast-track programme for students, upon successful completion of your course
  • Potential work experience opportunities on film projects and with the festival
  • Complimentary invitations for students during our student events. (*Some events have age restrictions)
