I am an independent film maker mostly shooting music videos, ads and documentaries. I have worked for clients including BBC, Channel 4, Coca Cola, Sony, Universal, Warner, Evian, Sheraton, Calvin Klein, Phillips & Vivienne Westwood.
I’m a director, cinematographer and editor, nominated in numerous festivals including Tropfest, Virgin Media Shorts, Vimeo Festival, Royal Television Society Awards.
I have shot over 100 music videos working in New York, Tokyo, Sydney, Bangkok, Paris. This means working at pace and delivering content that punches way above its budget. Each shoot is a mini production. Most music videos are pitched, produced and delivered within four weeks.
I have shot numerous documentaries for Comic Relief, UnLtd, National Lottery Fund, etc. This often means working with diverse groups of people, some vulnerable; telling their stories sensitively, giving them a voice. It’s always a rewarding experience.
As a lecturer I have run filmmaking projects in Africa, UAE and all over the UK. I currently lecture BA film students alongside my film making work. It’s inspiring to work with young talent. I am currently working on a pilot episode for a ten part drama, and co-writing a comedy set in Amsterdam.
