A former graduate of the Raindance MA programme in 2014, Chris is a Writer, Director and Producer presently working in London.
Having found a passion for film through drama studies, Chris joined Redroofs drama school to pursue a career as an actor. After achieving an undergraduate in Business, Chris returned to his creative efforts and endeavoured to propel his knowledge of practical and theoretical dramatics through training.
After growing restless on sets, Chris recognised a passion for a more hands-on approach to the art. In turn, this led to Chris’ first experience in filmmaking – a Raindance Saturday Film School, lead by Elliot Grove. Subsequently, Chris joined the Raindance postgraduate and focused his efforts on identifying the requirements to make a feature film.
Since graduating, Chris and a former Raindance alumni formed Craven Street – a boutique production company, which has produced corporate, narrative and event based content. The culmination of which was Chris’ first feature film, Astral – starring Frank Dillane. Craven Street’s catalogue of work encompasses their belief that good work comes from passion. Chris is currently developing a WWII historical Sci-Fi feature set in Papua New Guinea and a contemporary television crime-drama set in London.
