Visual effect (VFX) is the integration of videos and the moving images created from the computer, to create environments which look realistic, but would be dangerous, expensive, impractical, or impossible to capture in actual life. Visual effects using computers have recently become accessible to the independent filmmaker with introducing affordable and user friendly animation and compositing software. Visual effects are often integral to a movie’s story and appeal. Although more visual effects work is completed after the shoot, it must be carefully planned during the scripting and the execution stage.
