This evening workshop will look at some basic tools to use when preparing for intimacy scenes, protocols to consider and when to bring an intimacy coordinator to support.

  • Intimacy on-the-day: considerations relating to actors, director and various departments.
  • Truth behind the Nude: modesty garments – body image & awareness, range of 21st century products and their innovations.

About The Speaker

Yarit Dor is an IDC Certified Intimacy Coordinator and co-director of Moving Body Arts Ltd. Her credits include: Adult Material (Channel 4), Domina (Sky TV), White Lines (Netflix), Spanish Princess Season 2 (Starz) and is currently filming shows for Amazon/Sony, Starz and BBC Studios. Yarit is the Education Manager for IDI-UK’s intimacy coordinators certification training and has contributed to Director’s UK guidance “Directing Nudity & Simulated Sex”.
In the live performance sector she is credited as the first Intimacy Director on London’s West End (for ‘Death of A Salesman’ starring Wendell Pierce). She still works as a Movement, Intimacy and Fight Director and is an Ensemble Associate Artist of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, credits include: West End, Shakespeare’s Globe, Royal Exchange Manchester, Young Vic, Bush Theatre, Almeida.
