Description
The Homework given out will be commented on, and conclusions drawn. Screen Grammar will be clarified and the ways of getting round problems will be outlined.
Continuing from the first workshop, the Golden Rules of Directing will be the next topic covered, followed by details on working with a crew to get the best results. Working with tracks and cranes, and the importance of the Single Developing Shot are detailed with illustrations and comments. As before, points will be illustrated with material from the screen, and questions will at all times be encouraged.
Advanced acting and typecasting get a look in, as well as other Tricks of the Trade. The session ends with a unique section on Screen Composition, and the importance of knowing where to put your most effective moments.
There will be an opportunity of contacting Patrick over the next week if any points have arisen that on reflection need further elaboration or clarification.
