Since 1993, Raindance has been the voice of independent filmmakers from UK and around the world. In the frame of Berlinale, Raindance is bringing an evening of networking for filmmakers and film-lovers alike and a Q&A with Academy Award winner Gonzalo Maza.
Gonzalo Maza is a writer and producer, known for A Fantastic Woman (2017), Gloria (2013). Winner of the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and Silver Bear for Best Script at Berlinale 2017.

Raindance Film Festival is officially recognised by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences USA, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), and the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA). Selected shorts will qualify for Oscar® and BAFTA considerations.
