Cynthia Riddle has worked in the industry for years and has written many feature length screenplays for studios, networks and independent films. She worked as a development executive at MGM before becoming a writer. She is filled with tips and tricks for getting started, and ways to get your script into the hands of the right people.
It is not necessary to have a completed script for this class, a desire to learn about the industry is all that is needed.

CYNTHIA RIDDLE has written movies for MGM, CBS, Hallmark Hall of Fame, Disney, Showtime, Lifetime, PBS, Hallmark Channel, Nickelodeon, and independent feature films (often with co-writer Peter Hunziker). They penned the award-winning CBS/Hallmark Hall of Fame film Crossroads, and the recent highly-rated Puppy Love, encouraging pet adoption, for Hallmark Channel. They have three independent feature films going into production in 2014. Cynthia has a BA and MFA from UCLA in Screenwriting and Film Production. She was a development exec at MGM, and segued into a writing and producing deal with the studio. She’s been a story analyst for NBC, Robert Wagner’s production co. – RJ Prods., and Nederlander Prods. Cynthia won a Writers Guild script competition that sent her to Paris to workshop her script and location scout the project. Her scripts have been finalists in the Producers Guild Producers Showcase, Humanitas New Voices program, and WGA’s Feature Access and Writers Access programs. Cynthia also teaches screenwriting and producing classes at the New York Film Academy.
